12/12/2011 Complexe equipment for unintended breakdown

Sleipner Mechanical AS has just delivered a complete gearing and clutch system.

The assignment was carried out as a "rush" job, due to the circumstances that downtime
on the whole productionline is very expensive, why this should be limited as much as possible.

The entire setup was designed and FEM analyzed in less than 14 days, this including the customer
approval procedure on the new design, and lifespan dimensions.

Under "normal" circumstances a similar task would have required aproxx. 3-4 months work, due to the
complexity of the equipment, and the level of engineering detail.

Through our well established european sourcing network, Sleipner Mechanical AS managed to manufacture 
the equipment, within a very short period of time, and with relative low costs.
